Abstract

Kinerja karyawan di ruang logistik rumah sakit sering kali menurun akibat tata letak fasilitas yang tidak optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kegagalan operasional dan merancang usulan tata letak ruang logistik berukuran 5 m x 8 m menggunakan mengintegrasikan metode Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) dan Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Berdasarkan analisis mendalam, faktor lingkungan (environment) menjadi penyebab dominan, khususnya pada alur kerja yang buruk dan keterbatasan ruang gerak. Analisis FMEA menunjukkan bahwa modus kegagalan dengan Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi terletak pada alur barang yang tumpang tindih (cross-flow) dan penempatan stok yang menghambat aksesibilitas. Metode SLP diterapkan untuk memperbaiki kondisi ini melalui penggunaan alat analisis seperti Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) dan analisis aliran material guna menghasilkan alternatif tata letak yang lebih efisien. Hasil perancangan ulang (layout usulan) menunjukkan transformasi alur kerja menjadi pola serpentine yang teratur, relokasi area penyimpanan barang (Area 7 dan 8) untuk menghilangkan hambatan di pintu masuk, serta optimalisasi penempatan alat pemadam api (APAR) sesuai standar keselamatan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi FMEA dan SLP secara efektif mampu menurunkan nilai RPN operasional, meminimalkan jarak tempuh material handling, dan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawan melalui pengurangan kelelahan fisik dan waktu pencarian barang.
